PENTON Grafton resident Catherine Shears says cameras are good for preventing crime - and that the small sacrifice of being seen by them is worth it.
"They can be used for evidence by the police, so I think they must put people off committing a crime. I would certainly feel safer knowing that somewhere I go has CCTV," she said. "I don't really see a big problem with it."
