WOULD-be raiders fled empty-handed after trying to get into a Romsey Co-op store-garage.
Police say the incident happened during the early hours of Monday morning. An alarm sounded and those involved made off from the premises at Winchester Hill.
Two people were spotted outside the building shortly after the alarm went off. Officers say an attempt was made to force open a door.
