Andover League gets go ahead
THE ANDOVER and District League staged their adjourned AGM on Tuesday and although the response was not as good as expected they will run this season with a definite seven clubs.
They are ABC Utd, AFC Andover, Borough Arms, Inkpen A, Inkpen B, Kings Somborne and Whitchurch A.
Sadly, despite the Winchester Saturday League only having six clubs they declined an amalgamation but are interested in making more of the Alex Hopkins Charity Shield to give added interest to their league.
There is still time for any others to join the ADL, and all enquiries should be addressed to Gordon Hopkins on 01264 363124 or gordon.hopkins@virgin.net
