THE multi-award winning West End production of Cabaret is being performed at The Mayflower in Southampton next year with a star cast including Wayne Sleep and Samantha Barks, from BBC's recent I'd Do Anything.
Samantha has been cast in the role of Sally Bowles (originally made famous by Liza Minnelli) and will be taking to the Southampton stage from 9-14 February.
"I'm absolutely thrilled to get this part," she said. "Cabaret is one of my favourite shows ever and Sally Bowles is such a great part to play.

This musical turns Weimar Berlin of 1931 into a sassy, sizzling haven of decadence. At its heart is the legendary Sally Bowles who performs nightly at the infamous Kit Kat Klub in a shimmering masterpiece of a show guaranteed night after night'. Cabaret features show-stopping choreography, dazzling costumes and some of the most iconic songs in musical theatre including Mein Herr, Maybe This Time and the title song Cabaret.
