Little Gems Day Nursery is a successful and expanding day nursery that offers places to children from 0-5 years.

We are currently seeking high grade nursery nurses who are trained to NV level 3 and are able to offer commitment and the ability to work within a team.

We are also seeking an assistant cook to help our recently promoted cook in our kitchens. You should be able to help cook homely food and be aware of nutrition for children - a food hygiene certificate would be an advantage but training can be given. A nursery cleaner is also required – candidates must be honest and able to clean to a very high standard.

We are also seeking an assistant manager on a one-year contract to cover maternity leave. You must be NV3 and aware of all the protocols of running a busy nursery - someone with lots of confidence and the ability to learn quickly would be ideal. The successful candidate must be prepared to commit to a one year contract. This is a rare and unmissable opportunity to gain experience in nursery management, with responsibility for 16 staff. The position may become permanent although this cannot be guaranteed.
